You have only one choice to make in life, are you ready?

Discipline or regret?

A difficult choice

Not really.

Simplifying things, makes them simpler.

As obvious as it may seem, I have met many people, who have required help with just this. Making things simpler can be done by splitting a complex tasks into many small ones, or by "zooming out" and looking at things from a different perspective.

Another way to put this, is that the way we frame things, play a huge role in how we perceive them.

By using a different frame, perhaps the image you are looking at can be easier to deal with?

Origin

I first made the realisation that there is only this one choice in life, while I was reading some Danish quotes about life and regret. Then I started writing this post and in doing so did a bit of resarch on what others have said and eventually found (as always), that I am not the first one to discover this dichotomy.

Jim Rohn is quoted for saying:

"We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons."

And that's basically it.

I hope you came here because you came here because you yourself realised that life has only this one choice. If not, someone probably directed your attention here, to help you take responsibility for your own life and becoming the positive change that you need.
